Better Late Than Never

How many days have gone by?

I think we're about to finish the third day of COSMOS. It's really nice down here in La Jolla, and a lot cooler than in the Bay I hear. So far being here has been pretty fun. I met some cool people and the food isn't too bad. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'll gain a pound or ten by the end of the program. It's great though- just hope I don't get too out of shape. So, the people are really nice here. I made a bunch of friends and they're all pretty down to earth. Pretty much everything is nice down here, but I'm not really stoked for the classes. The research paper due on Thursday is a huge downer. But it's good... That's just how work goes. So I'm excited about going on field trips and everything - Knott's, the Zoo, the Beach. I'm a little homesick though...actually I'm a lot homesick. As great as things are down here, there's nothing like life at home. I'll get through it hopefully. I'm looking forward to family visitation weekend though. My parents and maybe even my girlfriend are coming up to vacation a little but in San Diego. That's it for now. Tomorrow's another day. See you later. Oh by the way, this is titled better late than never because i never got the email that had the invitation link so i could join this blog. I forgot how I even figured out how to write here, but I did and it was just a few minutes ago. Ok bye.
