3rd Day
Things are going very well here at COSMOS. I am enjoying the education and the residential life activities. The lab portion of the program is by far the best part, as I get to apply what I learn in the classroom into actual computer chips. Today's lab turned out to be somewhat frustrating as the debugging process took me over an hour, however I gained a great deal of knowledge about debugging and that even the smallest errors can make a huge difference in the final product. I am looking forward to developing my debugging skills as the program continues over the next 4 weeks, and I have no doubt that I will take away a lot from this program. The food has been great so far, and I am definitely enjoying spending time with my suite-mates and floor-mates. I am positive that I will continue to have this kind of experience through the upcoming weeks. On a somewhat random note, I am very excited to go see the library tomorrow. It is one of the coolest "attractions" here at UCSD and obviously, a very useful tool. I am hoping we will be allowed to use the library and its wonderful resources in the next few weeks. That's all for now!
