The First Day So Far

On Monday, July 7th, I woke up at 6:30am, showered, and went to breakfast. I don't normally eat a big breakfast if any at home, so I felt like I was on vacation eating a breakfast buffet at Cafe Ventanas. After Cafe Ventanas, other Clusters went off to their safety briefings we went off to the N. America main commons and did a team building exercise called "Violation: Spoon". After that we went off to the engineering building (via the snake at the library and a fun time cramming 25 people into an elevator) to listen to lectures where we were introduced to embedded systems, binary/hexadecimal, and applications of embedded systems. After that, I went to get Chinese food and ice cream at Cafe Ventanas. Once lunch was over, we went to our cluster's computer lab where we worked on programming a PSoC (Programmable System on a Chip) to perform actions on our chips. As I post this, I am waiting for my programming to build/compile. After this, we might have COSTCO cupcakes in our Suite thanks to our amazing RA, Mike. Later on tonight, there is a game of soccer scheduled, as well as a game of Mafia.
